History
KTK KLIMATECHNIK was established in 1984 by German businessmen under the name of Klimatechnik. In 1994, it was taken over by Italian businessmen who changed its name to KTK KLIMATECHNIK.

Established as the Italian production unit of a German company, the company has always had German-speaking countries as its reference markets and, as a result, its organisational structure and products have always featured the typical characteristics of these countries.

In 1995, KTK set up Essekappa together with SCM Frigo of Brugine. In December 1998, KTK obtained ISO 9001 certification from RINA "Registro Navale Italiano".

Products
Given its German origins, KTK KLIMATECHNIK has, as previously mentioned, incorporated the typical characteristics of that country in its products, which means that the design and most components comply with the severe German standards.

Products include:
  • water chillers
  • heat pumps
  • free - cooling
  • roof - top

These machines have many different features and uses, and range from 50 to 1000 thermal kW. (Machines from 5 to 45 kW are produced by Essekappa).

Facilities
KTK KLIMATECHNIK, managed by Giorgio Rodini and Marianarcisa Fornasiero, has 300 m² of office space including:

  • a sales office which can communicate in the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Slovenian and Croatian;
  • a technical office which can design products from scratch, both creating standard product lines and designing "tailor-made" machines; the latter are mainly used in production processes which entail a wide variety of cooling requirements.

It also has a 1,600m² factory and a modern test plant where machines with power ratings of up to 300 kW can be tested.
