The railways and marine container industries have historically
shied away from fitting remanufactured compressors -where
incorrect performance or poor reliability can mean costly
downtime with major capital equipment being rendered unavailable
for service.
Because of our high level of quality and performance testing
- culminating with the full load test - and our ability to
adapt our processes, materials and records to suit a particular
customer requirement, we have been able to address these industries
with a high degree of success.
For the Railways, we have been able to tailor our processes
to supply fully remanufactured compressors with special oils
and paint colourings to meet the stringent approval processes
necessary in this safety-conscious industry.
For the Marine Container industry, we have researched, developed
and applied a variety of technical improvements in gasket
technology and special paint finishes, to supply fully marine-friendly
compressors guaranteed to survive in the extreme operating
environment of open deck trans-oceanic transport.
As a result of this investment and development we are now
the preferred supplier of compressors for the majority of
"reefer" service providers at the major European
ports.
