Increasingly, we find equipment and compressors installed in systems
where little attention has been paid to the logistics of access
in the event of a breakdown. It is in such situations we are able
to offer the services of one of our dedicated specialist lifting
teams.
Each team is fully trained and equipped to carry out installation
and removal from equipment and plant areas with even the most difficult
access.
Often, before any pricing has been put forward, we will carry out
a detailed site survey to determine the best course of action and
identify any hazards to ensure a smooth operation. In this way we
can tailor our service to your requirements and the limitations
of the site.
If required we can also arrange the services of a suitable crane,
taking responsibility for survey, street closures and traffic management
as necessary.
All site works are carried out in full accordance with our Risk
Assessments & Task Procedures Policy Document. We are fully
appraised of the increasing requirements for correctly prepared
and presented Health & Safety Documentation and can also provide
a site-specific Method Statement and Risk Assessment if required.
It is important to note that we only employ experts in their specialist
fields and because of this policy our Lifting Team is not authorised
to de-commission or disconnect equipment. This must have been carried
out prior to our attendance, either by others or by our own suitably
qualified refrigeration engineers.
